I've been living in Phuket for 16 years, and for the last 13, Rawai has been my home.

Most studio doors are open.
You can watch artists working, ask questions, learn about their techniques, and sometimes even see a piece being finished right in front of you.
I don't know many places in Phuket where you can experience creativity this closely.
Every time I walk through the village, I notice something new—a painting that wasn't there yesterday, a sculpture taking shape, or an artist experimenting with a completely different idea.
That's one of the reasons I never get tired of this place.
More Than Galleries
People often ask me if Phuket Art Village is just another gallery.
It isn't.
I've spent years here, and that's exactly why I love this place.
Every visit feels a little different. Some days you'll walk into an art exhibition, another day there might be live music, artists painting outside their studios, a drum circle under the trees, or people simply sitting together with coffee talking about creativity.
It never feels like a tourist attraction.

One of my favorite things about Phuket Art Village is that you don't just look at art—you meet the people who create it.

My little jewelry studio is inside Phuket Art Village, where I handcraft sterling silver jewelry using natural gemstones.
Many visitors stop by just to look, but we often end up talking about crystals, symbolism, different gemstones, or how each piece is made.
I don't create collections in a factory.
Every necklace, bracelet, pendant, and ring is made by hand, one piece at a time.
For me, jewelry should remind you of a place, a moment, or a person—not just decorate an outfit.

Join a Creative Workshop
One of the best things you can take home from Phuket isn't something you buy.
It's something you make yourself.
That's why I started hosting jewelry workshops here in the village.

Years later, people often tell me they still wear the pendant they made here.
I think that's a much better souvenir than another fridge magnet.
Enjoy Coffee and Slow Down
Whenever I need a little break, I usually walk over to Ma Ha Lung Café.
The owner personally hand-presses every cup of coffee and even roasts the beans himself.
Watching the whole process is part of the experience.
Trust me—this isn't the kind of coffee you drink in a hurry.
Find a table, look around at the artwork, listen to the conversations, and just slow down for a while.
It's one of my favorite corners of the village.
